Bernhardt Loft

Bernhardt Launches New Lifestyle Brand at High Point Market

Bernahrdt Loft offers a cool, casual approach to modern living.

Bernhardt Loft is a new lifestyle brand with an eclectic selection of casegoods and coordinating upholstery inspired by modern living, combining an urban aesthetic with hints of farmhouse and mid-century styling.

“This evolving lifestyle brand is a new category for Bernhardt,” says Heather Eidenmiller, director of brand development. “Collection pieces have a unique feel, with a one-of-a-kind type of appeal that’s perfect for today’s on-trend casual look.”

Ideal for urban living, smaller homes or apartments, Bernhardt Loft features textural distressed pine in a palette of muted gray and brushed white, highlighting the grain and imperfections in the wood. Upholstery is low profile with a laid-back cool, made in a palette of soft neutrals. Cast concrete and metal frames suggest a metropolitan cityscape, while planked wood overlays and herringbone insets add layers of rustic texture reminiscent of found objects. Clean lines and simple shapes frame geometric patterns, tonal contrasts and cantilevered forms with minimal hardware.

“The pieces in Bernhardt Loft are meant to combine seamlessly with everything from antiques and heirlooms to open floor plans, exposed bricks, and city lofts,” says Eidenmiller. “It’s casual in nature and smaller in scale, but stylish and sophisticated, emerging with a new look and a fresh, edgy take on furnishings that reflect lifestyle, attitude and individuality.”

Bernhardt Loft will be shown during market in its own distinct, urban-inspired space within the Bernhardt showroom, located in the IHFC’s Design Center on the 6th floor.

Bernhardt Loft will be available to consumers Fall 2019.
