Form Meets Function in Geometric Styling

Shape and material take the spotlight in new designs from Bernhardt. Inspired by modernism movements in art and architecture, these pieces offer 2D abstractions, Mondrianesque boxes, and a raw-but-refined hint of Brutalism.

Materials are natural and elemental, ranging from textured woods to veined marble to acid-etched metals. Angles and edges provide a Cubist look, with interlocking planes, sculptural shapes, and industrial detailing.

“This look is an effortless take on modern expressionism,” says Heather Eidenmiller, director of brand development. “We’re often inspired by art and architecture for our designs, which is why we are also once again showcasing stunning original art from SOCO Gallery in Charlotte, NC. Visitors to our showroom will see pieces from SOCO artists in the Bernhardt Interiors room settings, as well as in our gallery off the main lobby.”
